With the complexity of garage door openers (they use both hardware and electrical components to work) it can take time to troubleshoot the problem. Not in this case, though. We very soon discovered that the garage door opener logic board wasn’t working correctly. Took it out, then put in a new model of the same manufacturer. Proceeded to reprogram the garage door opener remote and reset the travel limit settings. The problem was gone afterward.
